We were born and raised in Cyprus, in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. We lived in New York for over a decade. We are passionate about good Mediterranean foods that taste like home. Our vision is to help strengthen community bonds by sharing our culture and heritage through the food we grew up eating. Our mission is to continue creating

food for our community that doesn't just taste good but feels good by using only all-natural, Yiayia-approved ingredients.

Our Story

Back in Cyprus

Our story began in Cyprus, in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. Growing up, we spent most days during the summer swimming and exploring the sunny coasts of Cavo Greco. The most vivid memories from summer days are those made in Yiayia's kitchen with the whole family after a long day at the beach. Food was everywhere: on the kitchen table, the counters, and the stove. It was always fresh, good tasting, and endless. Symbolic of Yiayias love for the family.


From Cyprus to New York

Coming to New York, where we have lived for the last decade, our passion for good food traveled with us. With that spirit in mind, we put together a series of recipes that bring exciting flavors of our past back to life. Our need to remain connected to our culture inspired us to develop our recipes into products and turn our passion into a business.


Bringing CGF to life

Today, we're excited and proud to introduce Cavo Greco Foods. Our products, like our journey, are about integrating our nostalgia for our Mediterranean home into our fast-paced lifestyle in New York. We aim to continue creating food that doesn't just taste good but feels good.

Food and cooking are significant parts of our lives in Cyprus and the Mediterranean. It's more than a way to bring the family together around the table. In my family, it's a way to connect the present to the past. Whether it’s through telling stories of food eaten 50 years ago in Yiayia's village or cooking using specific ingredients, flavors, and techniques, food traditions helped me keep the passion for home cooking alive and maintain a deep connection to my roots.
